Monopod Advice

Hi all,

I am thinking of buying a Monopod and tilt head for use with my Nikon D5000 AF-S 300mm f4 Prime combination to help me with getting sharp shots in low light as the 300/f4 has no VR. I was thinking of the MANFROTTO 680B with the 234rc tilt head. Just wondered if anyone can recommend this combination or any other similar ones ?
