Hi everyone,

I bring you today two spherical pictures of the aircraft that I fly. Taken both with a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 14 24 lens

I hope you enjoy it

Un saludo

This is very cool! I really like how detailed the pics are and the fact that you can zoom in and read every guage / dial / switch. Great job and thanks for posting! Love the CRJs btw.

Thanks for your comment Darreno1. CRJs are nice aircrafts and the CRJ 900 is a great machine.

To make these pictures you need a camera, I use a reflex, a tripod and a panoramic tripod head.

The best lens is a fish eye type lens, because it reduces the number of shoots required. I use a Sigma 15mm. It is possible to use other lenses but it requires more shoots.

It is necessary to cover the 360 degrees, leaving an overlapping area between pictures. About a 15 to 20%. With longer focal distances usually requires several rows to cover the top and bottom.

I also take a picture of the ceiling and floor to close the panorama. I always close the panorama in Photoshop.

To stitch the picture I use PTGui Pro or Autodesk Sticher. There are other programs but I think these are the best.
