Flying to the Domincan Republic next year and am looking for fun options. I can use miles for all US carriers, or I can purchase).
I've already booked the return, PUJ-PTY (Panama)-LAX on Copa Airlines (via UA miles).
It's the outbound I need advice on from the sages. I don't want a red-eye, and I am fine overnighting somewhere part way. The options are as follows:
1) LAX-ORD-PUJ, LAX-EWR-PUJ, LAX-IAD-PUJ on UA.
2) LAX-YYZ-PUJ on AC
3) LAX-MIA-PUJ (on AA, including F on a 3 cabin 777)
4) LAX-JFK-PUJ on DL
5) US: would rather not fly US
I suppose I could also find a connection via Aeromexico. Any insights?

Find the delta flight thru ATL with the 77L, from LAX, overnight in ATL, and tke a flight to PUJ the next morning. If uve ever been on 77L biz elite, it's the better lie flat in the delta fleet. If that is out of the picture, I would choose AA as my second opinion. Enjoy your trip!
